She is a retired RN who has been doing crafts since childhood. the love of crafts began with crocheting and progressed to knitting, quilting and various forms of needlework. Teaching classes began over twenty years ago when she owned a yarn and needlecraft shop in York, Pennsylvania. Ten years ago she began making jewelry, this passion started with simple stringing and progressed to chain maille, wireworking and metal clay. Currently she is an Art Clay certified instructor and has been teaching jewelry classes for the last eight years in the York area and for the past five years at Mountain Knits and Pearls in the Pocono Mountains.
