Gail DeLuca, is a beadwork artist living in Maryville, TN, and owner of White Fox Bead Studio LLC in Maryville. Since 2003, she has been creating unique jewelry with glass and semi-precious beads, using off-loom weaving techniques. In 2005, Gail began working with Precious Metal Clay, and has since expanded her interests into all forms of jewelry making including silversmithing, wirework, and mixed media.
In March of 2006, Gail turned her love of beads and beadwork into another business venture with the opening of White Fox Bead Studio, a full service bead shop in Maryville, TN. White Fox Bead Studio has grown to become a destination bead shop for beaders from all over the region, and attracts instructors from across the country to teach a wide variety of classes. Gail shares her knowledge as a certified Precious Metal Clay artisan through classes and studio sessions, and she teaches many bead weaving and jewelry making classes as well.
Ms. DeLuca grew up in Chicago, IL where she earned a BA in art from Roosevelt University. She then let that stew for a number of years before finding her medium in beads. Along the way she married John, and worked in a variety of industries while John’s military career took them all over the country. When they arrived in East Tennessee in 1998, they knew this was where they wanted to put down roots and stay. They have since built their home, are tending their gardens and are working on converting a WWII rail car into a bed & breakfast.
