My bead product line consists of Philippine beads on 8” strands: wood, exotic shell and bone as well as loose shell and bone buttons. I also have assorted Indonesian glass, some gemstones, olive wood, Sono Wood, Wood Chain, Malas and some Columbian clay beads (all on 8″ strands).
I also have my own jewelry line, which is composed of a nice selection of unique earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I use mostly Hill Tribe & sterling silver, Ancient & Organic beads in my designs. I also carry a line of finished jewelry from Indonesia & Nepal. These pieces are made either with waxed linen and Hill Tribe silver or Japanese seed beads. At the current time, my website only contains my jewelry. I am in the process of re-vamping my wholesale & retail catalogs for my bead line. My company name, Truth Jackson comes from my actual name: Tracey Ruth Jackson. I thought it a clever play on words.

I started my business over 15 years ago as the Bead Hut. Life and it’s complexity forced me to re-evaluate my path, and I began focusing on the creative aspect of the business with jewelry making and teaching. I spent several years working with The Bead Goes On: doing trade shows, managing the showroom, teaching classes, working in their Beadniks franchise on Martha’s Vineyard and also maintaining their website.
Now, another life change has occurred, and I have found myself in the role of caretaker for my elderly mother who has Alzheimer’s. I decided the best way to be able to make a living would be to get back into doing bead shows. I have missed this aspect of the business and it has always been a great source of social interaction, and it brings me great joy. It will be fun to be back on the road selling my line of jewelry as well as a nice selection of beads. Many of my previous customers still contact me wondering when I will be back! I look forward to spending time with all of my fellow vendors and my clients who have missed seeing me.
